WA Barista Championship 2010
The 2010 WA Barista Championship was held in Mt Hawthorn yesterday, with Mark Chandler (of 5 Senses coffee fame) being crowned the winner. Jesper Bood from Ristretto competed in the competition (below).

It was an amazing weekend of competition and all things coffee. Emanuele from Ristretto came third in the cupping competition and you couldn’t wipe the smile off his face!!
Jeremy Hulsdunk of Barista Academy fame came second in the Barista competition, won the Latte Art and Cupping and is on his way to the Gold Coast in January for the nationals, brilliant effort Jeramy with very polished and professional performances in all categories, I think his prizefighter intros by MC Michael “grendel” Carol gave him a huge boost!!!

Jesper Bood (pictured above) is an awesome guy and a great barista!! I know that from when he lived in the city of Jonkoping in Sweden. 5 stars for his fantastic skills of making a perfect cup of coffee!!
