Hi Johnson, thanks for your comment :)
I was adamant about posting my thoughts on Milk and Honey, since nothing impressed me. But what you have mentioned confirms it. I'm sorry to hear that your eggs and latte were sub par. You are indeed right about the staff, as they are friendly and attentive. The cafe seems to hit all the right notes with its design and concept of a semi open kitchen, but ultimately, it fails to deliver when it comes to food and coffee. Let's hope that they don't dig their own hole too quickly!
Thanks,
Devan

Unfortunately I think I can somewhat agree with most of your points.

I didn't order the salmon dish, but I did order the scrambled eggs, and my god. They served a very LARGE portion of scrambled eggs, and although I can respect how large of a portion it was, I just ended up wasting quite a bit. Not to mention the eggs were too salty on their own right.

My experience with the coffee is a little weird too, I ordered a latté, which comes in these funky glasses that you can buy in IKEA. The coffee was weak, and there was quite a large head of foam at the top, and my god was it HOT. I had to let it sit down for a couple minutes, but that didn't stop my tongue from being burnt in that first initial sip.

The staff seem quite friendly, that one asian girl who works there is very pro-active, however the atmosphere was almost scary. The place looks too sharp and clean cut and I was the only person sitting in there. I simply felt awkward.

Although, it is definitely and improvement in Northbridges run down scene.
