Little Caesars Dessert Pizza
After our dinner at Clarence’s Bar & Restaurant, we shoot off to Leederville for dessert. San Churro Chocolateria? Nah. Greens & Co.? Nah. Little Caesars? Hell yes.
Little Caesars Pizzeria in Leederville is the place of choice for our 10:00pm dessert snack. Most of the customers have left, so we get a table quite easily. We choose the Tea Party gourmet dessert pizza ($14.00) made of French cinnamon tea cake, icing sugar, caramelised pears, maple syrup, and ice cream on a pizza base.
Tea Party gourmet dessert pizza
Every customer looks at our pizza as it comes out to the table. It is an impressive masterpiece of brown, amber, gold, and white. Fluffy cinnamon tea cake is literally layered over the top of the pizza and drizzled with abstract lines of maple syrup. Caramelised pears sit perched on top and are dusted with icing sugar. Then there is the ice cream. It is a large scoop that is placed smack bang in the middle of the pizza. A tower of melting Pisa as you will…

Four pizza slices down, four left to go
Ice cream, warm caramelised pear, cinnamon tea cake, and a drizzle of maple syrup
Wasting no time, we dig in. The pizza is warm, sweet, earthy, and fragrant all at the same time. It tastes like a real cinnamon tea cake and not just all sugar. Our first slice is fantastic – we savour every moment. The second slice is still good. Onto our third, fourth, and fifth we start getting bloated. After our seventh and eighth we feel a little sick. Before we leave, we drink a jug of water to wash down the sugar left lingering in our mouths.
What a fantastic dessert.

Looks oh so tempting! I’m putting on weight just reading about it…………!!!
Tea cake? On a pizza base? Erm, I guess my curiosity is piqued but I’m not so sure I could handle pizza dough with the cakey goodness. Well, maybe I could if I didn’t have a belly full of dinner pizza
It does look pretty damn impressive. I would have been staring too.
that looks amazing! we will be going there for sure! i LOVE pear…yum!
Haha yes it’s a weird combination but it works out very well. The Mudhoney pizza would be even more sickening with loads of rich chocolate and honey….yikes!
Their dessert pizzas are fantastic and unique!
You only live once!!! hehe
