Bowl of Honey is about my musings and ramblings about what’s good in this isolated city of Perth.
A little about me…
I became a passionate foodie during my time in Sydney – a short three-year period. My liquid enjoyment came from such places as Campos Coffee, Allpress Espresso, Velluto Nero, Toby’s Estate, and Mecca Espresso. Further, my palate went crazy eating at places like Black Star Pastry, Mamak, Quay Restaurant, Cafe ‘Ish, Ayam Goreng 99, Chat Thai, Spice I Am, Bistro Moncur, and China Doll.
I’ve returned to my hometown of Perth, and the city has changed – a little bit. There is certainly more traffic, developments are happening on the ground and in the sky, new shopping centres and arcades are opening, small bars have popped up in little alleyways, and the number of quality cafes and restaurants are growing.
What a wonderful time to write about food and drink in Perth!

Good to have you blogging. We have also started a Perth food blog – very basic and just our ramblings as we eat out around our area. Will be interesting to hear your views.
